Adrian's intuitive approach to the filmmaking process have been shaped by a decade of experience working as a digital operator, absorbing a rigorous, craft-led understanding of image-making alongside some of the most visually influential photographers of their generation, among them Nadav Kander, Juergen Teller, Nick Knight, Solve Sundsbo, and Miles Aldridge.

Central to Adrian's approach is a deep reading of the script,  pushing beyond the page to find the root emotion and lived experience of the characters, and from there building an authentic visual language that serves the story. An avid student of cinema across all eras, he is known for producing beautifully lit, compositionally rich images that move with purpose.

An award-winning cinematographer, Adrian has shot three feature films and over twenty shorts across a wide range of genres, with work screened at national and international film festivals. Recent projects include Guardians of Loch Ness, a fantasy action feature shot on location in the Scottish Highlands, and Deserters, a multi-award-winning short set during World War One. His work extends across commercials, documentaries, music videos, and fashion films,  a versatility that allows him to move fluidly between worlds while maintaining a consistent and distinctive visual voice.
